For example, if we analyze the Glassdoor website, it contains information that the national average salary for a Social Service professional is R$3,500 per month.

But that doesn't mean they will all be R$3,500, they can be higher or lower values depending on the company you work for.

However, in June 2023, the Social Security, Social Assistance, Childhood, Adolescence and Family Committee of the Chamber of Deputies approved the Bill 1827/19.

This project establishes the minimum wage for professional Social Workers at R$5.5 thousand for 30-hour work weeks.

So it is expected that in 2023, in the coming months, the salary will begin to be paid in line with the salary floor of R$5.5 thousand established by the Commission.
