The issue of housing can become a problem for families who live in dangerous regions or who have undergone urban interventions.

With this in mind, the Government of the State of São Paulo created temporary assistance aimed at housing costs.

Housing Aid – Bolsa do Povo

Housing Aid aims to provide full or partial funding for rent to families who have been made homeless due to force majeure, including natural disasters, urban interventions or even legal issues.

This benefit is provisional, and to receive it you must meet the housing removal requirements provided for by the program.

Health

Concern for the population's health must be a commitment of the State, especially for those who cannot afford services that guarantee quality of life and well-being.

VidaAtiva

VidAtiva is a program aimed at guaranteeing health for people over 60 years of age, registered with CadÚnico.

The benefit provides for a monthly payment of R$ 100.00 to cover physical activities carried out in gyms or clubs accredited by the program.

Minimum Income

Minimum income programs aim to ensure that families in situations of poverty or extreme poverty earn a minimum amount to guarantee family support.

The Bolsa do Povo Program includes 2 benefits in this category, which are:

Citizen Income

Renda Cidadã is a benefit aimed at families who face unemployment or underemployment, and as a result, live in a situation of financial vulnerability.

The benefit offers a monthly payment of R$ 100.00 to these families, in addition to providing initiatives that enable the inclusion and professional and financial development of the beneficiaries.

Prospera Família

Prospera Família is a program designed to help single-parent families with a per capita income of up to R$ 210.00, with children up to 6 years of age.

In addition to financial assistance, the program also offers activities, lectures and specialized assistance, in order to provide better opportunities for the family.

Education

Education, especially in childhood and youth, offers unique opportunities, especially to low-income families.

The Bolsa do Povo Program has 2 benefits in this sector: Bolsa Talento Esportivo and Ação Jovem. Get to know each of them:

Sports Talent Scholarship

The Bolsa Talento Esportivo offers scholarships for financial assistance to athletes of different categories and ages.

The idea is to ensure that these children and young people can dedicate themselves to training and competitions, without suffering losses to their family income.

Youth Action

Ação Jovem aims to serve young people aged 15 to 24 who face a situation of financial vulnerability, with a per capita income of up to ½ minimum wage.

Therefore, the benefit pays the amount of R$ 100.00 per month to young people who meet the requirements and are registered with CadÚnico.

Work and entrepreneurship

Encouraging work and professional training are enormously important in the development of families, which consequently reduces the unemployment rate in the region.

Therefore, the State of São Paulo has 4 programs in this sector, aimed at offering opportunities for inclusion in the job market and professional achievements.

Novotec Expresso

Novotec Expresso is a professional training program, focused on offering professional technical courses.

In addition to the courses, beneficiaries also receive financial assistance in the amount of R$ 600.00, paid in installments of R$ 150.00 over the course of the course.

Work Grant

Especially for those who have been out of the job market for a long time, gaining an opportunity can be very difficult.

Thus, with Bolsa Trabalho, beneficiaries receive the opportunity to perform simple services in public bodies for up to 5 months, and in return they receive a grant worth R$ 540.00 for the entire period.

Entrepreneur Scholarship – People's Scholarship

Entrepreneurship is one of the pillars of gaining professional opportunities, and the Bolsa do Povo Program offers the Entrepreneur Grant, worth R$ 1,000.00.

Therefore, the idea is to assist in the creation and evolution of the business, both through financial assistance and through training and guidance programs for entrepreneurs.

Fast Track – Bolsa do Povo

Like Novotec Expresso, Via Rápida also offers free professional training courses to citizens over 16 years of age who meet the enrollment criteria for each course.

In addition to training, the program also provides financial assistance, with the aim of reducing possible costs during the course.

These are the opportunities offered through Bolsa do Povo, so if any of the benefits meet your needs, be sure to register to receive them from the CRAS in your region!
