The law became famous for establishing penalties for cybercrimes, in particular those related to the hacking of electronic devices and the unauthorized disclosure of personal data, intimate photos or videos.

And with this regularization, colleges and universities began to offer courses and postgraduate courses so that lawyers can specialize in the area.

So today we find universities such as PUCPR, Fundação Getúlio Vargas, Mackenzie and others with courses in digital and cyber law, cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence.

These are all interesting and relevant subjects, which can be used for the various cases of cybercrime that may happen every day.

How important is cyber law?

In an increasingly connected world, online security and privacy become increasingly scarce.

That's why cyber law was created, even though it was after some cases had happened, lawyers are increasingly experienced in dealing with this type of situation.

And in the courts they will be responsible for protecting people's fundamental rights, such as their privacy, freedom of expression and security.

This includes the General Data Protection Law, known as LGPD, which was created for this purpose.

It is also very important for the regulation of legal relationships, which guarantee greater security and transparency in transactions that are carried out within the digital environment.
