What is the difference between PIS and PASEP?

PIS and PASEP are different programs, and understanding this separation is important to know which of the two you are entitled to.

O PIS (Social Integration Program) is intended to private sector workers, that is, those who work in private companies.

Already the PASEP (Public Servant Assets Training Program) includes the public sector workers, that is, those who provide services or who are public servants of the State.

Both programs pay the Salary Allowance, but the payment dates for each of them are different. Check the calendar.

Who is entitled to PIS/PASEP 2024?

To be entitled to the 2024 Salary Allowance, it is important to comply with the basic requirements, which are:

  • Be registered with PIS/PASEP;
  • Have a formal contract for at least 5 years;
  • Receive up to 2 minimum wages per month;
  • Have worked at least 30 days in 2023.
